** sweet story. one of the best metroid fics i have read. gave me great ideas especially the whole life sucking thing( got to love the little alien face hugging lifesuckers for that) but u shoudl continue it. a zonagen infection to the fusion suit would give it a very sweet overboost. think about it. im sure u can make a sweet one. well au revoir and maybe il check ur other fics too

Good Gods I love it when elements of all the Metroid games surface in a fanfic. Well, most of the games, at least. I found the use of Advance Wars to be cute and innovative, while not being too obtrusive as to scream 'crossover!' to the readers.

Perhaps what would be beneficial to this fanfic, and any of your future stories, would be to take a more intimate point of view of telling the story. For example, at the beginning of chapter 7, I was a bystander to Samus's pain, merely watching but not feeling or sympathizing with. There didn't seem to be anything extreme to make the situation as intense as it should be. (I hope that made some sense...) If such a little detail could be improved on, it would be a great boon to your writing.

Your characterization and plot are very solidly written, both of which are elements I find rather rare in fanfiction in general. So, might I encourage you to write another Metroid fanfic, or even a sequel?

This is it. This is it. I'm glad I waited to read it all in one day, because I would never be able to wait for each chapter. Anyway, you know about all that stuff about there being a Metroid movie? Well I think that this would be the perfect script. Some people would say "But Samus isn't alone on a desolate planet, she's on Big Blue" but movies usually take famous characters and give it a change of pace. What else is perfect is that this story is short compared to the Metroid games. It might have to be shortened a little bit, but a lot of it would make it into a movie. It's perfect. Samus is the perfect badass for the job, and only a story like this could do it. The only thing that would keep it from being a movie is the addition of other game characters, like Sturm and his COs from Black Hole, but without them, or something very close to them, this wouldn't work as a movie, and I do believe this would work as a movie. It couldn't even be a game, it HAS to be a movie, and I would go and watch it on the first day it came out.

I wish you were some kind of game story writer, or movie director, because you would be a great one. Truly great. This story right here just shows it. It's so spectacular, so nice to read, that I can't believe it's possible, but you're one of those authors that can just put something out in front of me and make me have to read it. The only thing is that you're missing something, just one thing to make this a page turner. I personally think it's the lack of suspense at the end of the chapter, but with the way you write, I wouldn't want it anyway. Besides, it brings a sense of closure to each individual chapter, so the chapter isn't completely thought of as part of a whole, but also part of itself a little.

Ok, it's time for me to stop talking and worshipping I guess. Love the story, don't stop writing. The only other bounty hunter out there I want you to see justice to is Fox Mcloud, although I'm not sure how well that would work out.

Ridley's arrival at the 11th hour- that, I didn't see coming. A lovely wrap-up to the whole thing.

Let me be very clear about this: this is probably the best Metroid fic I've ever read. Wait, scratch that; this is one of the best fics I've ever read, period. Excellent writing, and so many plot twists it'd make even Hideo Kojima and J.K. Rowling's heads spin. I look forward to your next major fic.
