Woah!! Intense and deep, and sad. But a good story!

Yet again, my project was almost destroyed by watermarks. I think that Artemis was with Holly and trying to steal something, but a guard caught them and shot Holly, who died of blood loss. WA! Somehow, though, I kinda knew Artemis would commit suicide. That doesn't make the story and less better though!

Aw... so soppy, but good job- this is the only thing in this whole shipdom that I have even liked.

Wow... that was... very well written, but one of the most horrily sad things I've ever read... Of course being in the Angst genre it was meant to be but... you have managed to make me cry, and I do not cry easily.

Granted anything in which Artemis and Holly don't get a happy ending (seeing as they're my favorite AF pairing) makes me saddened... but you should know that this actually has had some kind of profound effect on me. One that I cannot even identify.

Its a very good fic, although i dont hink artemis would shoot himself straihgt away, he probably would have thought about Hollys death for a little while unless he had already been considering suicide in the first place.

this is such a great fic!! i almost cryed! i have a huge lump in my throat...but i am on a library computer so i dont want to start sobbing in a room full of teenagers...

That is almost as sad and depressing as the story where Holly commits suicide. Maybe I'm just over-emotional, but I almost cried because of this story... GREAT JOB! It really leaves the reader wondering about just how far Artemis is willing to go to reach his goals. I don't like the whole A/H thing though (even though yours was pretty interesting!). Why does someone always have to be in love? Guess it's all to mushy for me. Well, great job anyway!

God knows how you do it but keep on writing! I could ne'er figure out how some ppl could put all those emotions...things, into a story.

never really liked Arty romance fics but this is an eception: very nice how you captured the anguish and guilt that Artemis felt when he was the cause of Holly's death.
I especially liked it when you made him remember her so fluidly, her expressions and behavious throughout their relationship (from captor/captive to friends to lovers).
One thing though, i thought that Artemis saying "Prepare a place for me when I meet you." is a tad corny and cliched. :)

Listening to The Calling's Wherever You Will Go right now. Current thought: WHY must Artemis 'go where Holly went'??!
This tale ruined my bouyant mood - big time- but it only goes to show how good it is because this 'kayu' reader seldom feels much when she reads a fic. You really nailed the primary genre here; it's incredible how practically each sentence radiates angst. Especially Root's lines. Heh.
Ps: Did I mention that dark, angsty fics are my favourite? =P

Noticed you fixed the para "And then, like a torrent...". It's truly MUCH better. Good images. I'm just a bit confused about Holly's state of health: Is she DEAD, DYING, or ALIVE at the end of the fic? In the beginning of the fic, everyone's reactions imply a dead!Holly, but your newly amended paragraph says "she lay dying on the floor, her life seeping away, her eyes regretful and yet forgiving as she regarded Artemis..." So, she ISN'T dead YET? Or... what?
