This is an interesting story so far, but one thing just screams out at me. Jareth's mother is not the Queen mother, as Jareth is not a Queen. The mother of a king is known as the 'King Mother' and the mother of a queen is known as the 'Queen Mother' ... England has a Queen Mother right now because the Queen is the one who legally has inherited the throne and not her husband. Whether Charles or one of his boys inherits the throne next, the mother will be referred to as the 'King Mother' as it's unlikely that the next to inherit the throne will be a female. It doesn't sound right but that's the correct phrase for the individual.
