I am so far removed from being a Hr/Ron fan that it always give me great pleasure to read some Ron `bashing`, though in this instance, I did feel pity for the fact that he died. He might be totally incompatible with Hermione (canon-wise), but I had hoped that he would live well (in this story), at least. His death was a bit sad.

The long letter to Hermione was gorgeously written! You outlined some issues I have with Hr/R, and laid out a strong case for Hermione to end up with someone more complicated and intellectually and emotionally stronger, basically, someone who can appreciate Hermione for all her faults and strengths. Thank you.

You have totally caught my attention. Now this is one perspective ive never come across so far. First person narration from the eyes of an owl! Amazing.
