Interesting premise. I liked the way you developed it.

I really enjoyed this a lot. This last chapter really did hit like a ton of bricks! I think you did a great job of capturing the relationship between Subaru and Seishirou, and an even better job of convincing me that Subaru's progression of emotions was realistic and that maybe things would work out for them despite everything. You did a really great job on this!

O.o This review seems late. But just in case you're still with this, I wanted to tell you I love you and you're a freagin' god. I loved every bit of it, it was great in it's complexity and poor Subaru. I haven't read anything this good in the X fandom since I discovered Leareth. ^^

I loved it, best S+S fanfic I have ever read, really.

I know this is very late in coming and unlike most reviews it will not hasten the nextt part of the series because this one is over, but i still felt obligated to tell you that you are by far the best x/19 writer i have had the pleasure of reading. Wow. I have read hundreds of fictions by hundreds of authors and yours is definately in the top 3. You amaze me and i believe you captured the Subaru / Seishirou dynamic that many others miss. It almost seemed as though Seishirou was waiting for Subaru to say "I love you" just so he could disprove it. That short chapter was rather painful. Very bittersweet.

Subaru starting to remember things? Yay!!

And I can totally understand Seishirou's lax attitude towards his occupation. He grew up with death, knowing full well that his entire life would be characterized by the deaths of people at his hands. If you can't numb yourself and distance yourself from something like that, you will most definitely go insane. So, him being Seishirou, it must not be anything for him to joke about death.

It also seems as though he's trying to impress upon Subaru the fact that living with him means accepting even his job. Ouch, right?

I don't know whether to be thrilled at the ending of this chapter, or scared of it. The implications of Seishirou and Subaru's conversation are both numerous and widespread, but the person effects are the most interesting.

It's a relief that they're finally talking! About something serious, about anything. And your characterization of Seishirou is amazingly accurate- as enigmatic as ever.

Sorry it took me so long to review!! Midterms and stuff, sorry. Anyway, I was really worried about the end of this story, because it looked so hopeless, you know? Subaru kun needed a little hope, and you gave him that. The ending was just perfect, though a sequel wouldn't hurt, lol. Hugs!

Wow...more like sixteen tons of bricks...but excellent ending, with room for each reader to imagine how they think the relationship will go.
