Violet Shadows 2008-07-31 . chapter 1Really really good, maybe could of done without the twist at the end, but still throughly enjoyable. |
A Schrodinger Fan 2008-03-30 . chapter 1This is a great story! It's very well-written and it's plausible! You should write another story! |
sunsethill 2007-03-21 . chapter 1Now that was a unique story. Poor, fussy Percy. I'm so glad that he was able to grow up and see what he was throwing away. And what an intriguing premise on how Voldemort could create an army for his own use. You brought me to tears at one point. |
When the World Rounds 2006-04-14 . chapter 1Hi, sorry, i should've commented on your most recent fic first, but i was intriuged by more Percy fics from you. :P. Well, first of al, i love all the Percy fics you've written so far, and in this one, the ending was the best. In fact, this entire one was wonderful. The beginning characteristic of Percy was so in character that i wanted to smack him across the head for having so much pride. But i guess that's the power of your persuasion. Alas alas, percy is my ultimate favorite character, please write more? I love it when there are authors that can pump his flat character round. :D |
 HarryPotterObsessed 2006-03-07 . chapter 1Interesting, i liked it, Very good |
Hanya the Bloody Angel 2005-06-07 . chapter 1*awe* Secretly Percy is one of my favorite characters, in fanon especially, because of redemption-type fics like this. That was just brilliant. I wish I could offer more, but words just can't touch the feeling this leaves inside me. |
 * 2005-03-06 . chapter 1 Well, this was quite good. Yay for making people think. |
Megan le Fay 2004-12-21 . chapter 1I am so happy to have read your story. For some reason I have an irrational affection for Percy and it was so nice to see him figure things out and make up with his family. Also the parts with Snape were awesome...I hope he does choose to go through that Pensieve! Because he really deserves happiness. Oh, the thing I especially love about your story is the end line! For Percy to think that...it was beautiful, thank you for writing this.~ |
dianashirly 2004-11-19 . chapter 1Edgar Allen Poe meets Agatha Christie. Cool and well- written. Percy is well in character. A lot of people think he is an idiot but he is just delusional when it comes to rules. |
JoeBob1379 2004-07-20 . chapter 1Wow. That was... wow! You know, I always liked Percy... and I always liked Prof. Snape, too... I like Sev more than Percy, of course, but I think I'm starting to ramble, so I'll just shut up... Anyway, this was a really amazing story- very deep and thought-provoking... anyway, great story! |
bluemeanie 2004-06-20 . chapter 1 Percy is an interesting character to write - he isn't that developed in the books. Basically all we know about him is he likes order/discipline and he's a bit of a prat. So there is some depth for you to fill in - of which I think you did a pretty good job. Percy seems to have a tendency to talk without realizing it, dosen't he?
so like you to fit Snape in there somewhere - even an implication of him and Lupin being lovers. Just couldn't pass it up could you?
Arthur Weasley must know his son pretty well to predict his response to finding Snape's memories. But Percy doesn't know Arthur very well at all does he? Funny that I read this on father's day...
i wonder what the pensieve leaves behind? do you actually forget things, or does it just distance you from your own memories, lessen their potency, to the point where its as if you just read about it somewhere? If the later is the case, wouldn't Snape and the other Death Eaters notice their happy memories becoming more obscure? It would be a horribly effect manipulation technique though - one of the things that keep cults in business.
Favorite part: "Your mother was beautiful." It must really unsettle Snape to have another person know him and his memories more than he does.
very interesting story chica, good work. ^_~ |
GreenLady 2004-06-01 . chapter 1This was a great story, and the pensieve idea was absolutley brilliant, it's something I can see the Ministry doing. I also like how you incorporated Snape into all this, and how that's what finally made Percy face his own memories. Very cool! |
Miss Puar 2004-04-30 . chapter 1 Impressive. An original take on the Percy redemption theme that was well planned and well-written. A treat to read. |
Lady Peregrin 2004-04-25 . chapter 1Wow, this is really good. The whole idea was original, and the plot was very clever. Assuming of course that Mr. Weasley was most definately the one who put the key on his desk. And everything had a happy ending. I absolutely love this story, so look forward to seeing it one my favorites list. Lovely words and style!
Sincerely,
Lady Peregrin |
Backroads 2004-04-22 . chapter 1*applause* Wonderful! You nailed Percy--made him seem so much nicer. And the ending was realistic. It was happy (yay!) but realistic--no one seemed perfectly comfortable, which is to be expected. I like the idea of searching the homes and all that. Goodness, this sounds like a blonde review! Oh, well. I do appreciate this story. You're very talented writer--great flow of words and ideas, and this was a great story to read. |
