Yes Caranlass is a Marysue, she displays extraordinary characteristics and you have given no explanation why she is capable of such feats.

However, I still like the character. Excellent story by the way.

i am in love with your story! i read all 77 chaps in three days, and you HAVE to post the epilogue! i wanna know what happens!! i especially loved the bit where the young elves shave their heads - the looks on the other elves faces! a pity that Elrond couldn't see it. (or did he? i can't remember)

I was just getting ready to write out this review last nite and we had a huge power surge and my computer went dead. Really dead. I was so panicked. DH said it had been a long time since he had updated so he was busily planning to buy all kinds of bits and pieces, he builds his own computers. Finally after a few hours of tinkering while I sat and tried to act as if I was holding up well it got back to almost usual. What a scare. He kept saying get on the lap top, he has one and so does DD. It just isn't the same.

I am glad that you are having such a good time. We did when we were in NY. We got to visit friends, got see Thoroughly Modern Millie, lots of tours and museums and shopping. I fully intend to go again when my knees are fixed.

OK - Last chapter. For some strange reason I thought I had to review almost the whole tale but it was just the last chapter. I don't feel quite so overwhelmed.

It is hard to keep Legolas from roaming isn't it? He is just a curious kind of elf. He didn't get that from his father. At least the king thinks he has him cornered for some time to come with his honey-do list. Gandalf knows better though. The calm before the storm.

That was a nice elven birth. I thought the 'brave infant who would be balky under the curcumstances was so cute.' Having the king be happy over Laurelasse was a nice touch.

So things came back together again for a happy ending. And I get to start reading and reviewing the quest from Legolas' viewpoint. This should be good.

Wow, what a great story. It was nice to see Thranduil give permission for the young parents to name their daughter Laurelasse. It really shows how much he's grown since the beginning for your stories.

I do, however, have two requests for stories. Of course I'm not expecting that you'll write them right away, but you could save them for a rainy day. The first one you've already heard before, but I thought since there was what I am interpreting as an open-ended request for suggestions for new stories, I thought I would mention it again, lol. It involves an elfing Anomen and a certain set of stairs, a cave, and a really big spider. My other request is just a little inside look at how Legolas felt during the quest right after Gandlaf fell in Moria. I think you could do a really nice job with that one.

Ooh, the mention of hiccoughs reminds me of a very funny story I read a long time ago. It's just known as 'Untitled' and is by Skyfire2 ( but it's hilarious, you should read it.

I hope Tathar and Caranlass are all right; and Legolas too. Even though I know he will live, I can't help but feel worried for him, lol. I can't even imagine what Nana must be feeling. Great chapter =)
