I think Blink functions very well on a team but terribly on her own. Hopefully you'll give her some interesting subplots. I know that other people don't seem to like Taki too much, but I don't care. Wiz Kid does it again! He's the guy I would want in my corner if an entire city was under siege.

A bit of physical description and back history of Tarene would be good, if you haven't already written it into the subsequent chapters. But that is my unschooled opinion, since I mainly just read X-titles. Good work.

Danrilor 2005-07-09 ch 25,	abuseGeez! If you keep this up there isn't going to be enough of Metro City left to put in a cigar box. I never liked the place anyway. The citizens of MC should kick out Force Works for bringing down the seven plagues of Eqypt on them and then they can move to someplace interesting like Baltimore or LA where - for some reason - super heroes never frequent. Why do comic book creators think that Chicago or Dallas has no crime to fight? When Iron Man moved to Seattle I almost soiled myself. All that notwithstanding, good job with the cataclysmic battles. I have no idea why you think that I do them better than you :)
Danrilor 2005-07-09 ch 24,	abuseThis chapter gave the impression of a great new beginning. Sabre is a lively and interesting character that I would like to read more about. I loved how she refered to the Works as "These fascists." She seems to know how to use her super speed to do a lot of those nifty little Barry Allen speed stunts, but she obviously doesn't have Barry's moral clairy or unshakable sense of right and wrong. My only complaint about this issue was the abrupt and inexplicable switching from first person to third person throughout the story. You are a better writer than to make that rookie mistake. If you are going to insert Kim's narritives into a story narrated by an omnicient or semi onmicient narrator you need to put her passages in italics of something to differinciate the passage. Other than that, it was a great chapter and I am sure that the following chapters will indeed by "up to snuff." P.S... don't be a stranger.. drop me a line sometime!
Danrilor 2005-07-09 ch 23,	abuseWhat I liked best about this chapter was the confrontation between the leadership of Force Works and the Mutant agencies. The growing rift was the most intersting thing about this chapter and a good change of pace after the slam bang action of the battle earlier. Moonstar's emotional state regarding her betrayal of Factor X was handled well, but it might have shown more charicter development if she had found betrayal easier the third time around. Comic book characters are often cursed with the inability to change, a static emotional and situational state of being, which limits things dramaticly. The chapter was still a dramatic and intriquing end to a long running storyline, and I think that you did great.

Danrilor 2005-04-09 ch 21,	abuseThis chapter was notible for showing that both victory and defeat have their own ramifications, and that the media will never be happy! The highlight of the story was Robbie pathetically trying to buy Rahne's affection by giving her his mutant cat. I laughed my punk ass off just picturing the devestation that feline is going to wreak in her apartment. The only bad thing was the Works taking a dive in the first place. It didn't seem even remotely heroic, but I guess that this is why this is one of the more realistic stories on this site.
