Ah - loved it! I loved how you brought the theme of pink back at the end, nice conclusion. Apart from that, I love lorelai/chris, and this was a great version of when they were young.

Really well written. I always wished they would show the actual day she found out. They did the flashback that one time. They need to do more. Anyway, yes, very well written. Lorelai had said somewhere that she said "I have to go to chemistry" after Chris proposed, right? That line sounds familiar. Again, nice!
