Wonderful, fascinating story! Any chance you might finish this one? Julian is my fave character and I'm not ashamed to beg. Very well-written and I enjoyed it very much! Thank you for sharing and I DO hope you continue this one.

Okay, this is a good story but I'm just a touch confused. They've been there for four hundred years, and yet she's talking about Sanctuary Districts and in a way it sounds like she was a founder of the area. Is there a time warp, or am I just missing something?
At any rate, this is fascinating, and I look forward to more.

This is lovely. Good pacing, just enough level of detail not to overwhelm the story.

If I were going to change anything (and it would be merely for my own entertainment), I'd like to hear more of Julian's inner thoughts... I'm sure he misses his friends at DS9, but what does he really think? What goes through his mind as he falls asleep at night on Terra Nova.

I haven't seen a DS9 episode in a very long time, and Julian was always one of my favorites from the show. It is nice to revisit the world that I enjoyed so much before.

I really enjoyed the first three chapters! You've got a good, detailed society established here, and I like the idyllic nature on the surface which masks the restrictiveness beneath it. I'm suspicious that Meraigyn killed the last guest she had, and I thought she was taking Julian for a hike to try and off him. I like Lerik a lot, too. Is there a reason he's so smart for 5 year old? Is he also joined?

I'm a big fan of Julian as well. I've posted a few Julian fics since you last updated this story. I'd really like to see more of this one. You kind of left everyone hanging.

One nit pick: Julian didn't mention he played darts before Meraigyn mentioned them. So unless you plan for her to be a telepath, or this to turn out as another section 31 holo-torture session you should add that in.

I like what you've got so far, and I'm curious to see where this story goes. I'm sure Julian could adapt to his new life... Starfleet people are generally pretty adaptable. I can see lots of repurcussions to his return home, from both sides..
I await the next chapter with curiosity and anticipation.

I like your story. I am not happy about Meraigyn and her people keeping Julian as prisoner, however. It sort of reminds me of an episode of TNG where former soldiers were kept in "comfortable communities". Even though the setting was a pleasant one -- it was still a prison to them.
Oh, and as far as Julian being a favorite character -- he's mine too.

I'm glad you're continuuing this story--it gets better and better! The introduction of strong conflicting ideas over whether to contact "home" or not (or whether to still even consider it "home" any more) makes it quite interesting. You've managed to write some neat original characters, and you've written Julian all right, too. I especially liked the conversation with the little boy about setting up a commlink, and the picnic at the waterfalls. I wonder if Julian will meet Dexi Leet! I look forward to more. :)

Love the story so far. I agree with you about there not being a lot of Julian fic...he's my favorite! Who could beat that accent and his boyish charms? Keep up the good work, I look forward to reading more!

Thanks for updating so soon! Yeah, most people only write Julian as an arrogant whiny ladies' man, but-- come on, people! He's so much more! He and Garak are my favorites... And I am really enjoying this story! I like the character of Maeaigyn... can't wait to see how it all develops!
