You wrote in the beginning you hoped you didn't mess up the details because you hadn't read the books in a while: you didn't! I just finished reading them: you've got it all right.
And everything was so perfect for them! Thayet trying to take over the planning? Numair inviting EVERYONE and their gossipy aunt? Daine turns into a sparrow at her own wedding? Cloud eats the cake? Zek and his lewd comments? All of it and more was just right, and so funny!
I think this is the best Numair/Daine story I've read so far (and I've read my share!). So...*favorites*!
