This, this, this was amazing. Best fanfic I ever read, above "Toast" by Alkari and "Not the Cross but the Light" on SugarQuill. Time hasn't worn it one bit. Indeed, it made me stop brooding about "two years' borrowed time" (JKR planted a surprising amount of land mines in CoS, the movie, yet) and I... this was just so moving. Full marks, or more.

I am very glad that you went about writing this the way that you did. You could have used excessive swearing and violence, but you did not. That is very admirable.

You could have done a lot of unneccessary things. But you did not.

And so this story truly depicts the scene.

The only advantage that Rowling has over you is her knowledge of her own people and situations, from the inside.

wow. that was so well written. i bet it happened almost exactly like that. you are a litertary genius. that was probably the most close-to-canon story that I ever had the pleasure of reading. I am sending this to all my friends who read HP. you are great.
