First person is actually a very good way of writing, because it brings the audience closer to the character. You say you like Anne Rice. Just steal her stuff then. You steal everyone elses. 'Laws' you stole-because I reviewed the original which is excellent. Your Knock-off is like a knock-off burberry scarf-cheap and nasty like you.
