INteresting... that's certainly a take on Dumbledore's orders I haven't yet seen. Highly original, I must say. Wow. The writing flows well, and I enjoyed the brief exchange with Snape and Black. The relationship between these two characters intrigues me very much, and I'm very eager to see how JK portrays it in book 5. Meantime, exploring the possibilities in fanfiction is working out just fine. Looking forward to your next installment. -Firecross

VERY VERY interesting. I liked the courtesy between Sirius and Snape, and the awfulness of Snape having to do the dirty work of killing Karkaroff - once on the dark side, always at its mercy. Have you read MMM's "In the Pale of Moonlight", though, where Snape is asked to kill K as proof of his loyalty, and (in a very clever and complicated way that only MMM can pull off) uses this to get rid of K, clear Sirius and condemn Pettigrew?
