Wow... That was really good, but you broke video gaming rule #1- The player must not die! And when you do die, you don't mention it to someone unless they saw it. You just described the player's death. And forgot to put character death in the summary. That means nothing though. Great story.

The only thing cooler than Ridley is the Masterchief.

Cool story. I personally would have kept the whole "beg for mercy" bit unvocalized on Ridley's part. I would have written it as Samus seeing it in Ridley's eyes that he wanted her to beg. Other than that, awesome. Welcome to my favorite authors list!

Always interesting to see those what-would-happen-if-the-villain-won fics. This one is written well; The characters both seem like themselves, or what I've seen of them. I'm something of a newbie to Metroid, I'm afraid, but still.
I don't like mindless gore in anything, but your descriptions don't strike me as mindless - they're blunt statings of fact, and add to the story. The picture that inspired this seems to be dead in the link, unfortunately. Still, I can just see this little scene playing out... and no grammatical errors, either. Well done. ^_^

So this is what happened all those times I lost against Ridley on hard mode in Zero Mission... One could not help what it would be like if the tables were turned, and maybe Ridley didn't get his head blown off every time he fought with Samus. And it seems to me, fitting to go down fighting all the way to the end on her part. Although maybe you've already been notified, the picture you mentioned in the link doesn't show up. I don't know how you will take care of it... but hopefully you'll get it fixed, and we can see where your inspiration came from. I'd sure be interested.

While it's good to see good triumph over evil, I think, deep down, we all have this sneaking desire to see just what would happen if the bad guy won. It's nice to have that urge satisfied once in awhile. Well done.

Had I not played any of the Metroid games, and then stumbled across this story, you would have me so scared to face Ridley. While reading, I kept getting Jurassic Park flashbacks, but one thing is different, the T-Rex kills for food/survival, Ridley was killing for pleasure.

That was good, though, that will never happen in the games. Anyways, it was quite interesting either way.
