I love strong women characters, and a Queen who is fighting to stay strong and not to cry is amazing. Again, like i said in the other review I did for your other story, I've never seen the Lord of the Rings, but again, it didn't matter. You've taken this character and made her all your own by putting in the emotions. It's truly wonderful. Are you going to continue the story?

Hey, EverVengeful, I really enjoyed this story. You did a wonderful job catching Arwen's emotions and thoughts at the funeral. One thing I really like about your story is it has a unique spin to it. I have yet to read another Arwen story where she regrets having loved him. Very original; in a field where there's not much originality, this is like a breath of fresh air. :D I also like your word descriptions, like this one: "...it feels as if my heart is being scooped out with a rusty knife and strung on a gibbet..." and this: "I am one of the Elf-kind, doomed and blessed to live forever, to never love a mortal. Cursed to live out all the Ages of the world without a blemish."
There is a little bit of angst here, but I believe with a little more work, and some more added thoughts of Arwen's, you would have a good amount of angst going. You could even write another short chapter with some more of Arwen's thoughts if you wanted to make this longer.

good. i like the "Queen does not cry" thing, except in joy. it really brought it all together. i like the ending "I am one of the Elf-kind, doomed and blessed to live forever..." one thing is that i don't think Arwen regretted choosing Aragorn that much. i mean, of cousre, she rued it when she felt the grief, but i think it wasn't as extreme as u put it. good tho!
