I got this from the MC awards page (I'm a tad bit slow on the uptake-- only a couple of months!) and now see why it was given an award! I loved it! Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic! Yup,enjoyed the ride no end.I totally and absolutely concur with Elrond,as a mother of three sons I 'would give nothing for a simpler life'.Though at times they may drive me to distaction and grey hair they are the most precious gift that I have ever received.So glad they all survived,even more glad that our local Orc problem is reasonably controlled.(Yes they do still roam the earth,you can see them in every cruel and mindless act around you,they're just harder to spot).Elrond and Thranduil's friendship came over as well as their son's.Feel free to write another anytime.I'll be waiting.

I like Elrond's thoughts on this and thought you did a very interesting job. Ever feel bad for those boys though?
