Wow, good story! I'm really happy to see a good Soujirou fic like this! I LOVE him, but for some reason, I can't find any good ones about him out there [but of course, maybe I just can't find them]. This fic was especially good at describing his feelings and such, and I liked that.

It's very interesting how you depicted Soujiro's thoughts in this fanfic. Here's some constructive criticism (hopefully you don't mind): there are a lot of fragments and I'm not sure if they're for style purposes but try to keep fragments to a minimum. Other than that, I think this is a wonderful fanfic! ;D

Eck...sorry. I really liked this chapter! It had Soujiro's thoughts, and he thought about useless stuff, humorous stuff, strange stuff, and important stuff all mixed up and combined. That's realistic. And you're doing a very good job on how he's trying to get into his emotions nad how they confuse him.
I know I said I'd nitpick...but...I can't find anything to nitpick...*Sweatdrops* Well, anyway, keep em coming!

Good job! So far this story is really good. Soujiro's my favourite character so I was really happy to see a new story about him up. I like your new character Chieko, I don't know why but I she cracked me up a couple of times! Great job!

if you hadn't know before...1)after the fight with kenshin, soujiro left the building 2)after kenshin's fight with shishio, the building burned down 3)during the fire or after(forgot) shishiro's weird person guy(forgot his name) who was usually in the same room as him(not soujiro) and the muslim really really strong guy(forgot his name too) and soujiro were quite a bit of a ways from the fire they talked a bit and went their seperate ways(i think somehow soujiro was not injured anymore) 4)at the end of that or during the last episode they focused on a happy soujiro(isn't he always)at an inn thanking the inn's caretaker of letting him stay their...so as you see this probably couldn't have happened...but this is a VERY good story so sorry if i doscouraged you or something...i'm cranky it's 3:13 in the morning and i am NOT nice when i'm tired!but hurry up and update!PLEASE?!?!?!?!?!

finally someone writing a pure soujiro fic. not that i know others who had but yours is the first one I've seen! way to go! I think soujiro's so cute and was quite disappointed that after the kyoto arc, he wasn't seen anymore... keep up! it's really good!
