Oh, very good! And one thing for Snape to think about--despite his bold words in this chapter, Lupin has spent years and years playing the victim card. Snape will be determined not to be like that. Besides, aren't there any potions only a vampire can brew?

I'm ambivalent about this story. It's very interesting, but I personally have problems with stories where people manipulate and force other people to do things for "their own good", but violate any right the person has to self-determination. So I have problems with this story. I'm still reading it, but only to find out if Severus can find any peace after everyone violates him in every way. Wow. Lots of development here. I'm looking forward to seeing more of a confrontation, and reactions when the others learn just what deeds has Snape so suicidal. Well written, even though the flickers of hope seemed a little fast to spawn IMHO... :)
