Beautiful! Truly beautiful. This is a wonderful story, not only in its content - which, though not completely original, is far from being overdone - but also in its composition. The few minor grammatical errors aren't even an issue. It's amazing how well you captured Kagome, Inuyasha, Shippo, and their relationships with one another. They might me a little out of character, but then again there is no manga or anime incident to compare this to.

In short: great job, and thanks for sharing this!

This was great, though I couldn't help but wince at some of the more careless errors...Spell check anyone?...But all in all, they were very minor, and couldn't detract from my enjoyment and the obviously skillful voice you employed. I love his character, the tone of it all, the descriptions, but most of all the development wrought by change after change, adaptation after adaptation...And the idea that it was tears that healed it in the end-priceless.

It seems you have studied psychology, considering how well your fiction mirrors the likely reactions from the different persons - mainly Inuyasha being aware, yet unaware (in denial) about his face. Also, Kagomes and Shippos reactions. Those were the most convincing. I must admit I couldn't understand why Kagome wouldn't touch his face until you wrote it out - I thought she perhaps was trying to spare him the knowledge or something, but that didn't fit with the rest. I am also glad you didn't force them to blur out a lots of "I love you":s.

Practice makes perfect, you say. You've practiced enough, I'd say. This IS a useful fiction.
