"Parker please stop running away from me. Stop hiding behind that mask. I have always sensed that you have some feelings for me; well I hope that you do. We both have been through so much together, and as I told you once, you have been a Centre prisoner all these years just like me. We both deserve a little happiness." He paused for a moment and sighed, "Parker, I missed you, and I'm tired of being alone."

Her lips trembled as she spoke, "Jarod, I do care about you... More than you'll ever know. I always have."

Beautifully written! I really should have read this first before I read "Destiny". But, this too, is simply magnificent. Thank you for sharing this with us.

This as good... though it was shipper and a had a few minor errors through it, it was good. Look forward to reading more of your stuff.

Simply amazing. The characterizations were great and the story well done. I had actually started to read the sequel, unaware this was the first installment, so I'll be sure to read that story when i can. Excellent job!

Not to sound too odd... but this reminded me of one of the funniest lines in Pretty Woman; "Some chick just bought it over there." I find the phrase "bought it" incredibly amusing because of what it implies, and the fact that it's so rarely used. It's good to see that someone else has made use of it. :)

I like that! I don't believe I've ever heard someone describe it that way, but it certainly makes sense.

Great story. I'm anxious to see the fruition of their plans in the sequel.

At the shock of seeing Jarod launch into him, Broots let out a terrified scream, "Ah!!"

Everything went flying. There was hot coffee and juice all over both of them, and donuts and bagels were everywhere. All Broots could say was, "Hot, hot, hot!!"

A Pretender, a Techie, juice, donuts, and coffee... It would make an interesting abstract painting.

I loved this part:

Great blend of humor and drama. Exciting cliff hanger. Can't wait to see who's here in the next chapter!

I jusst read all three chaps of your story and this story is excellent! I love when Paker is so worried about J and she has to face her feelings for him and analyze them. I also love that Broots was helping her and that as soon as J gets his site back he freaks that MP wants to take him back and run! Then falls over broots *LOL* and know has amnesia. Please update really soon! I'm dying to see what happens next and how MP, broots and porr J, who is not really well escape the clutches of the centre! More more more!

Good chapter - full of detail, character description, and intrigue. Glad that Angelo is such a help. Broots is about scared out of his wits, but he does rise to the occasion. Poor MP and Jarod - she is having a hard time, but she is trying to help. Jarod is now in BAD shape. Wow, they are going out the back door as the sweepers are coming in the front. What a cliffhanger. Please post soon so we know how/if they got away. Good work!!
