Very nice work. It was touching without falling into the sentimental drivel category. I could understand Angel's need to talk to someone. Even if Eve didn't know Connor, she knew of him and in this fic, that would be enough. Thanks.

I cannot stand Angel's attitude about Lindsey. How does he know that Lindsey doesn't love Eve? He always thinks the worst of him. And the "prodded with hot pokers" was totally uncalled for. Maybe once upon a time, if he'd reached out to Lindsey, things would be different. He never had much of anything (especially compared to a rich merchant's son), and he deserved some happiness sometime.
