I don't think I've heard it used the way you and other authors have on the show but I could be wrong. The people you're talking about though would more properly be referred to as deck crew. Flight crew is used to refer to aviators, anyone regularly in the flying units. In BSC's case the pilots and ECOs.
Anastashia 2007-12-06 ch 1,	abuseI'm curious if you were a distance swimmer. I don't think I was ever mildly hypothermic at the end of a long swim. The work my muscles were doing always warmed me up nicely and I generally felt like it was time to go for a run when I finished (although from what I know running first is the reccommended way to go if you're doing both exercises).

I liked the looks into each of the characters, with the flashes of backstory interwoven with the story of the present. I liked the motivations and interactions of the characters as well. After reading the author's note, I see what a complex and drawn-out process creating this story was, and I want to say that I appreciate the time you took with it. I really enjoyed reading the story and look forward to reading other stories by you. Thanks for sharing.

It just hooked me right from the beginning even though it wasn't a shipper-story g I have some parts that I'd like to mention cause they just had something special to me and I'd like you to know which :) so here we go: A nice, rock-solid roundhouse pitch with her fist tightly balled. Her best aim would put it right above his jaw, between the cheek and the ear, ... (that sounds like me talking about chocolate cake :D) Having a frakkin' Adama * at you is worse than bad sex.* Frak, right now she couldn’t even tell if she was right side up or upside down. She might even consider the fact she was in Hell, except she didn’t think it would be anything this nice. Kara felt her face hitch a small grin. She still hit first and asked questions later. Lee would be so disappointed. And he'd still respect her in the morning. (Tigh about Kara) It's possible that she came over and we missed her among... (my first thought was 'yeah, right, who could miss Starbuck?!' and I was really glad to see you thought the same thing!) But I'm a bit diappointed cause it seems for a while that they all forgot about Kara, even if Lee is totally out of it, the old man would never forget that Kara is missing... Kara's thoughts on the other hand were right back to at least two of three Adamas, that's a good thing :) I really liked that Really like the memory of that cavern incident, and who played which part in it! I love little Lee in Adama's memory story! And it made me almost cry, so intense was the feeling Lee had for Zak even as a little boy to protect him Little Rebel-Lee is also one of the cutest images I can think of :D So, thanks a lot for writing this amazing story!

The saying says, Good things come to those who wait... I'm SO glad we waited for this story, as it was SO good. It will go down as one of my all time favorites and I shall hold my breath until the sequel comes! Who did this to whom? huh? HUH? (BTW... you can keep Lee in the skimpy robe a while longer in the sequel!)

I, myself, needed the emotional reunion of these two men. I never want men "blubbering", but I love honest emotion and I found it here. Bring on the epilogue, as I just heard (wink wink) that the sequel is coming...
