Derrand59 2008-08-01 . chapter 7A very good and well thought out story, never saw that coming so a 10/10 from me. |
HarimaHige 2008-04-04 . chapter 1Great Story. Oh man it was very interesting. The Idea to start in the future was cool. I hope you write something new or an preqeul. |
 Xinthos 2006-11-18 . chapter 7:O
Holy shiznit. That was really, really, REALLY good. I LOVE backwards timelines, because they never fail to capture my attention. And you've just made like, the ultimate one. From beginning to end (or end to beginning, I guess you could say), there was never a moment where I wanted the story to change. The personalities and jobs, everything that happened I could definitly see happening if the beginning was like this. |
omrianh 2006-01-02 . chapter 7 aww dude! That last chapter...This whole thing...It's a real good idea how you did that, even if it was not your idea (Memento). Gosh, how those words, "you are my fiancee..." just make everything kind of click even better. Very well done! |
Random1377 2005-12-12 . chapter 7Ok, I just read through this entire story in one sitting... at work... when I should be working, so I guess you could say it held my attention pretty well. It was quite dark, but well-played overall, and if there were plot holes as you mentioned in chapter 6, I missed them. All I caught were a couple places where 'it' or 'of' was absent, but since I do the same, I can't really complain. I still haven't gotten around to watching Memento, even though I have it, but after reading this I might just invest the time, because I really liked the way the reverse timeline built tension and slowly unwrapped the truth of what happened.
I don't know what else to comment on without leaving spoilers, but I think I should say that everyone's career choices and personalities after 12 years are pretty believable to me, and I, for one, could see this happening if (as you said) the moment was just right.
Excellent little story. I'll have to remember to thank Hawker-748 for pointing it out to me.

RedPBass 2005-04-29 . chapter 7Very interesting. Manga-wise, I could see Motoko doing that in a moment of weakness, something not many fans would admit, apparently. It's pretty depressing though, how their whole life is built around a lie like that, and the effect it had on all the others as well.
Good story in any case, and that's a pretty unusual way of writing as well, good job. |
DCWestby 2004-12-12 . chapter 7Quite interesting way of lining the plot.. Unique.. write more.. |
Supreme Ky 2004-11-28 . chapter 7 That was just fantastic! The first chapter I felt disappointed because my initial thought was that Motoko didn't truly love Keitaro. But as low as it may seem, what she did was just cool! But that's just because I support Motoko and Keitaro a little higher than the rest. Please, do NOT continue this! I feel that if you do, somehow this will come back to bite Motoko in the **. But if you do, then I'll probably end up reading it anyway, hoping that things will work out for Motoko. |
Shade32 2004-08-18 . chapter 1 Motoko's evil! Boo, Motoko! I found this fic okay, but for me, a big fan of KeiNaru relationships, this just struck me as weird. How could you take Kei-Kun away from Na-Chan? |
Chris Oddland 2004-07-17 . chapter 7Nice fic. Personally I think that Motoko as well as the other girls would under certain circumstances seize/exploit the opportunity if they could.
It could happen in my opinion. |
HinaGuy749 2004-05-31 . chapter 7All I can say is WOW, I mean damn that was just a spectacular story I wouldn't think if it in a million years yet it's so simple and perfect. This story really made me think about a lot of things including the actual chances of happiness for every one if keitaro were to be with anyone other than naru even though it pains me to admit it but now it just doesn't seem possible for things to actually work between him and the other girls whether or not keitaro chooses to be with that person of his own free will or not. This wouldn't sadden me if it wasn't for the fact that motoko/keitaro stories are my favorite and will now probably think about this every time I read one but aside from that I have to say that this story really touched me in a way that very few have so I will sugest it to all of my friends and ask them to review. Peace w/ chicken grease! |
petran 2004-05-19 . chapter 7Great concept, Great Story, and a great character study overall! I really wouldn't want to see a sequel to this though, because it would spoil the whole story. And, yeah "Memento" is a great movie! |
Smack54 2004-05-19 . chapter 7I feel cheated, I was hoping for more of a setup but oh well. It's a good story anyways just leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth. Reminds me of how I felt when I walked out of the movie Unbreakable, good movie horrible premise once you figured it out. Oh well, this doesn't need a sequel but I'd lie to see more fics by you, keep 'em coming. |
teia 2004-05-19 . chapter 7 wow, i dont really know what to say. wow. i mean i did not expect the ending to be so, o wut's the word. short. but it's straight to the point and it somehow a perfect way to end the story. i must admit the conclusion being the beginning and the starting point of the story being the ending is a good concept. you don't really see a lot of those types in fanfics. very original. im not really sure if i should be happy or ashamed that motoko did what she did. but then again, considering the circumstances with naru and keitaro it is aggrivating to see them like that 24/7. it is understandable. to say the least, in the end the wait was worth it. to sum it all up, i only have one word for you: WOW! well i enjoyed the story n i look forward to your other creation, Once In A Blue Moon being continued. Keep up the writting and good luck. =) |
MachineGunMan 2004-05-19 . chapter 7Bravo on a job very well done. Some people may want a sequel, but I think it would only soil this story's integrity. Once again, bravo, and thanks for a truly wonderful story. |
