TrisakAminawn 2007-11-16 ch 1,	abuseOh, that WAS nice. I always thought of what's-his-tail having an older sister, I don't know why, but it's a similar concept. I love what you've done with his son. The thing was, I knew where it was headed from the beginning, and I actually though Naruto had figured it out before he had, when he was first apologizing. I hate it when I stupidly get ahead of things like that. Hmm...maybe a little too much time spent on the description kitsu-kun's clothes? It was difficult to picture as it was, because of phrases like 'loose and tight in different places' (and besides, then you said he was wearing a poncho) but it wasn't too bad. Maybe a little too heavy on the smile, too. Naruto's 'trickster' speculation was more heavy-handed than usual. The depression the boy was sitting in got glossed over when you mentioned he was sitting in it, so there wasn't much recognition when it suddenly grew in significance when it became apparent as a footprint. 'Contemptful' may well be a word, but not one that usually turns up, and 'contemptuous' is more easily made sense of. No need to make it more dense than it needs to be for the atmosphere. The definition of 'That Place' and the explanation of how Naruto found it was great; succinct, hooked up the times nicely and heightened the mood and provided the necessary information. Huzzah. Most excellent. I only brought up the places I thought you pushed the value too far because I like to be useful and it's rare I get a chance to bring up such minor aesthetic points. You do have a romantic way of composing. I always feel silly when I use language that heavily, but you're good at it. Sort of like a Rennaissance-German painting. Remember me, by the way? I've bugged you on and off, but I expect a lot of people do that. I liked the personality on kitsu-kun; nothing too distinctive because there was no time, but he was clever enough and young and friendly and /consistent/. Naturally. He made me think of the short Shonen Jump America published last month, though--it must have been one of the earlier concept stories, in which Naruto was a young fox who'd been found years ago after his father (our kyuubi) had wrecked a village and been killed, and the theme was trust. Are you really going to throw out some sequels? You're a pleasure to read. I hope you got something out of this review. Ta. -Trisak

I hope Naruto meets up with him too...do wonder what Kyuubi's thinking, though, and who the kid's grandpa is. Kid's lucky he has a grandpa, in my opinion--Naruto got left with nothing at all. But yeah. Loved it!

I love the fact that Naruto uses ramen to help gauge the state of the world and those around him, it amuses me greatly. Oh so appropriate for Naruto :) Very well done, it's a shame you don't write for more series I know well enough to read fanfiction for and know what the heck is going on! ;) That's cool though, keep up the good work, follow your dreams, all that jazz... I'm sure you can see why usually prefer to lurk than review (yes, I'm one of those people), I leave very silly and completely useless reviews!

It's kind of disheartening that you wrote this years ago and it won't be updated, but I think this would make a GREAT epic-length fic. Anyway, this was an absolutely wonderful read (I normally don't read one-shots, but curiousity got the better of me), and I look forward to reading more of your stories!
