i love this story! i love how the ruh, kodo, and podo knew what to do with tao. just so you know, though, your story isn't marked complete. just thought i'd let you know...

omg, that was amazing, it made me wanna cry. mainly because Tao is may favourite character and i hate seeing him hurt.

Altho i did think u went a bit to far with the sexual abuse. that was a bit gross. Most of it was realistic and well described.

This was just so wonderful... I wish there had been more fics based off of The Beastmaster TV series. I've always loved the deep love and friendship Dar and Tao had for eachother. This fic showed all that beautifully... especially with the horrorible evil that had been done to Tao.

I love that the animals knew and were there to help too.

I have just begun watching this show as SciFi channel is now running it. I'm fascinated by it. And your story was so...terrifying and touching at the same time. I have only seen a handful of episodes, but your writing pulled me right in. I liked the closeness between these two; so many people scoff that two men could care about each other so very much in a brotherly way that transcends all else. Your writing did this beautifully. I admit I cringed quite a bit at Tao's extensive injuries, but it only served to demonstrate Dar's dedication to his friend, his brother. I would love to read more 'Beastmaster' stories from you, if you are so inclined!

Hm, very .. thorough story. I liked that Dar felt such a brotherly bond with Tao, though they seemed a bit... closer.. in this story than what we normally see on the show.

In any case, this fic was incredibly heart-breaking, you almost made me cry at points, but I like the reaffirmation of their relationship at the end, and of their morals. It worked well with the theme of the story.

Wow! I have to admit I nearly backspaced when I got to 'how' Tao was hurt (nothing personal, I'm just sensitive) but I kept going because the writing style was so capturing and the story beautifully told. I especially liked the way we looked into Dar's mind, and the end. Did I mention Wow! LOL
