I'm reviewing some of your stories here and some at soa, so I hope I'm getting them all done eventually. This is such a sweet story...Pippin asking to look to the west knowing that far away Boromir will be doing the same and then having the faith to do it after Boromir has passed.
Somehow knowing Pippin names his child Faramir seems more poignant knowing that he and Faramir are probably both facing west at the same time! Sniff!

What a lovely close to the story. I can just see him in his old age, surrounded by flowers and beauty in the glow of the sunset, thinking of Boromir...

What a sweet and wonderful tale! A lovely, intimate moment between Boromir and Pippin. I love your style of diction; Old English easily understood. I have yet to find that happy medium. This is an amazing story! Awesome job! I've always liked the character of Boromir despite his eventual succumbing to the power of the ring. I loved how you captured the bond between him and Pippin. Very touching and poignant fic, a pleasure to read (Man, I sound like an English teacher! I mean it, though!)
