A very different view of why she stayed.
I wish this had been the published version, that she wasn't allowed, not: did not follow.
This pair is by far my favorite and there isn't enough written on them.
What a weight to carry, she knows what will happen to him but can't say anything b/c the fate of the world might change. Heavy.
I like the flow of this.
One can almost see the speaker. Almost see Amarie looking forlornly after Finrod.

This is very beautiful. I've read other fics by your hand and enjoyed them very much, too. Keep up the good work!

Cheers for one of my favorite pairings!
It was very well written, and the style flowed beautifully. I can't exactly tell who is speaking here, as it seems it could be her father or Manwë, or Finarfin even. But I like the sense of mystery. :)

This is very unusual, but very intriguing. Beautiful vignette.

Brilliant! I loved the way you gradually let little bits of information out. Poor Finrod and Amarie!

it confuses me about who is speaking and that made it a bit of a struggle for me to read (i am a bumbling idiot though!) was well written though.

That is so sad. No one should have to know such things, but maybe in later times it gave her hope. Just because you know someone will be reborn does not make the idea of them suffering and dying any easier, does it? I wonder...did I miss who the speaker is? Very touching, very sad. You're making me quite a fan of Finrod and Amarië!

i love it. u certainly do put Finrod/Amarie in a whole diff light. it shows how helpless Amarie is to stop him, even though she wants to and how much they love each other. u also give a beacon of hope amidst all the sorrow in the ending, taht he will walk you once more under the golden leaves. I really love "And time shall not heal your wounds, neither the passing of the years or the slow run of the turning seasons." for it echoes Frodo's words @ the end of ROTK, and it shows the time of the Elves... very very very good... i hate you, ur always so good!!
