At first, I was almost completely certain he was God, but now two other possibilities have presented themselves - Michael or the killer. Not to mention, he seems determined to see her safe yet ruminates on Jeanne d'Arc, whose story didn't exactly have a happy ending. Keep up the amazing work, and I'd really, really love to see the next chapter of this!
