This is an swesome fic. The tone is so understated and to-the-point, and yet, all the more effective for that. The last line is perfect.

So few people know how to end well (I read one yesterday- not at fanfic.net, that ended with the Slayers characters all getting in a snowball fight completly out of the blue.
