I liked the story. Plain and simple. The only thing is that Logan was a little OOC. With the comments form the others, the "wild" Logan would have been on edge, angry from the attention to his personal life. He would not have appreciated the comments in the hallway - both Marie's "It's what I want," like the X-Men can just give him away to the highest bidder; and Scott's "I can take you down," which would have been met with either something raunchy (Let's leave that to Marie) or the claws and some quick wit.

But I like the story. Sometimes, to tell a story, you have to change a character, and you did say AU, so that alone can account for the alterations to his personality.

ha... that was good. You should write another one. I Love the way they got over her mutation.

I really like the way you write what Logan is thinking. Very much the way I thought he did. "The cool side of the pillow" that's about the sweetest thing I've ever read. Sounds funny but it's the odd compliments that are the best. The ones that you don't really think about, that just sort of happen.

But I think that describes how he thinks more than anything. If he were to wax poetic I would say he was out of character. And she was perfect. Cute, still a little bit young, but still grown up.

And I like the way you addressed the "Jean" issue. I've always thought that they would be better together than anything, but in the end I think this is best. Cyclops is annoyingly boy scout like. Wolverine is ... well... wild. And that's the best.

Wow.. The water thing was interesting. It makes sense too.. The water would act as a coating, mind you you'd have to reapply it like every three seconds, but it works... God, I love it when people have awesome ideas. xD
