Wow... Power Bumper, Dragon Booster, AND Counter Reviewer all activating at once? Is it possible?

Anyway, I read both this and "First Day Out", and was thoroughly entertained. You did a great job illustrating Charizard's character. He's always been one of my favorite characters from the Anime, and he acted exactly the way I would have imagined. Very cool.

There were some punctuation issues, but nothing too distracting.

I think I'm going to read some more of your stories. I like your style. :)

Reading it (before reading the author notes, which cleared the problem up) it felt a little sketchy on detail, then I noticed that Ash's Charizard was the narrator and the problem cleared up. Beyond that minor bit, I liked it overall; it gave a new feel on time worn characters, mainly because Ash wasn't around to be his usual Gary Stu and ruin the chances of good plot. That, and it's the way you portraid Charizard, he was more than a stubborn bully like he used to be...he grew up, so to speak. The 'rivalry' between himself and Harrison's Blaziken was a nice touch; finding another fire type to fight against again, pushing his own limits with every attack...or something like that.

Anyway, the surprise bit at the end was neat. So, overall it was a well rendered story, if not a bit short.

Heh, cool. ^^ Canon PokéPOV's are always nice to see, especially like this. While the transition from the first memory bit to the waking up scene was a bit awkward and warranted a double-take, I like it. The banter between Charizard and Blaziken whiletrying to save Harrison was cute. xD Plus I loved seeing the Charizard clone at the end (Knew it was him evn without the A/N.)

DM02: Nice, very nice. Love the whole thing where Blaziken says "Humph, looking forward to getting your tail kicked again."
That was...unexpected. (Charizard comes in, flames charging in his mouth) Oh shoot.
Charizard: /ROAR/
DM02: Any idea on what he said, WindAgumon?
WindAgumon: Something along the lines of "Are you insulting me!?"
DM02: Oh, well I do like both poke'mon equally. As a matter of fact if I could pick two poke'mon to be my favorites; it would be Charizard and Blaziken or Ho-oh.
Charzard: /mutters/
DM02: Translation please.
WindAgumon: Not quite sure but I think he said "That's more like it"
DM02: /sighs/ Hey Charizard, don't you have to get back to the valley? (Charizard panics and leaves) That could have gone badly.

You should do more of these kind of stories

Hmm...it was interesting. I've never read a story from the perspective of a Charizard, including that of Ash. It was rather interesting, especially the ending. No grammar or spelling mistakes, as far as I could see. Good job.

Cool story. This is probably one of the best Charizard stories that I've ever read. Maybe once we all find out who the fire starter's final form in the next Pokémon generation is you can do a sequel with Charizard and Harrison's Blaziken battling that and a Typhlosion.
