OH WOW i love this fic! This is such an interesting take on malcolm's feelings for hoshi. I like how the fic is from trip's perspectives.

Interesting. I wasn't sure was gone 'til the end. But you brought it right back to canon. I don't think Malcolm wouldn't know he's in love with her if he pays that much attention about her, but it was still a nice story.

I just read that now. That was brilliant.

I love Malcolm and Hoshi story-lines.

You did capture a Tucker point of view very well in his interactions Reed, the efficiency of the engineering crew, and his feeling he's let his friend down when she's kidnapped.
Would Malcolm ask that? Yes, he watches over all is crew and he's someone who has seen Hoshi at her most vulnerable on several occasions. Highly trained officer or not, she's valuable and he'll watch out for her. GOOD JOB

I love this story already, I do hope that you post another chapter soon.

This was an awesome first attempt, Phaser Lady. I hope to see more stories from you soon. I was sad to see somebody left a flaming review for such a good story. At least they read it, right?
I can understand that someone may not agree with the angle you've taken, but they should have left some constructive criticism rather than venting their obvious spleen in an anonymous,chicken-hearted way.

Oh, that's good. I like that he thinks his staff probably thinks he's in love with her. The end is very fitting; I'm dying to know what happens this week, and seeing how Malcolm reacts to Hoshi's kidnapping is right up there. This story works within canon nicely. Good job!

Wonderful story! I'm not sure that making a habit of asking people (especially T'Pol) to look after Hoshi on away missions is something that Malcolm would do, since they are presumably all highly trained Starfleet officers (Hoshi included), but his care and concern for her make a lovely story. I like the way you told Malcolm's story from Trip's POV. I hope there's more to come when we know Hoshi's fate!
