Definitely one of the best GetBackers fanfics I've ever read! It's so heartwarming and funny, and you managed to write the whole story without including any yaoi (not that it's so bad, but there are way too many yaoi fics out there!). I also like how you slipped him subplots about the Getbacker's various missions! Good story overall. Thanks for the entertainment! :)

A shoe came flying to crash painfully into his skull. There in the doorway was the subject of the conversation…or rather, the bearer of the subjects of the conversation.

“I hate you, Ban,” HEVN snarled.

-Good aim XD!

Ginji, in the meantime, was being shaken around by George. “I’M SO HONORED TO MEET YOU, SIRS!” he said in surprisingly good Japanese. His eyes were wide, round, and practically sparkling with gratitude. “Thank you so much for finding Reiji!”

No wonder Reiji didn’t get freaked out by the Get Backers, Paul thought to himself.

-LOL!

Emishi grinned. "Yet?"

-Man his tongue keeps slipping.

Memer leaned forward and nudged Ban. Nudge, nudge, nudge.

Ban glared. "What?"

-C'mon, Ban! You'll have to say it sooner or later!

"Oh, Himiko-san called me at around 2 o'clock," the hakobiya replied off-handedly. His smile widened. "You know, Chibi-kun has a remarkable sense of humor. He likes it when he sees me draw my scalpels…like this!"

"GAH!" Ginji went flying tare-form, and even Ban shied away, as Akabane lunged a bit forward and popped the glowing blue scalpels out from between his fingers.

-Fear the scapels!

Paul stared.

“What?” Natsumi asked.

“I have a thermometer?”

“Hai, in the medicine cabinet!”

Silence.

“I have a medicine cabinet?”

-Next time, he might ask for a map for his own cafe XD!

The crash of a gong. “Tremendous Trio, the Sovereigns of Surgery!” They all struck assorted poses.

-Okay, I'm pretty sure Saiyaman does not live in the GB world LOL!

“Hevn-san! You’re home!” he cried, waving his fans around and flourishing them at Hevn, then at the staring baby seated on the table. “Now we can give Chibi milk a little more regularly!”

Silence. Then, the very painful sound of a 200 kg fist and a stiletto heel striking a small body and flinging it into the wall.

-He really should've watched his mouth ROFL!

Juubei faced Emishi defiantly. "I can do that too!" He did not know, of course, exactly what Emishi was doing, as he couldn't see.

"Hah! All right," Emishi said, staring Juubei in the (blind) eye. "Do the Floppy Dance!"

Silence.

Silence.

MORE silence.

-LOL! Poor Juubei!

And why was Chibi-Ban flying at her, in slow motion, with open arms and a joyful expression, crying…

"Natsumi-chan!"

-Natsumi to de rescue?

"…yet."

Long silence.

Very long.

Some crow in the distance started cawing. "Caw…caw…"

Shido silently cursed his involuntary slip of the tongue.

-O_o... Shido, what's on your mind...?

They were about to brawl when Madoka said, in reply to Ginji's question. "I'm sorry Ginji-san, but I'm not experienced with children…yet."

Shido noticed the pause before the 'yet' and cursed silently again.

- Raises brow

The other man turned and saw, sheltered under a nearby tree, a huge stork about three-fourths his own height. It stared at them…in an oddly evil, amused manner. It opened its beak and emitted what could have been a cackle, and then flew away.

Ban turned back, sweatdropping. "I did not see that."

-PFFT.. LOL!

"I," the baby repeated.

"Am."

"Am."

"A."

"A."

"Ban-chan?" Ginji said nervously.

"Parrot."

"Pawot."

-Yeah! Sounds like one XD!

...soo...Chibi's related to Ban?

Truth to be told, this story isn't fantastic. Personally I prefer Rabid Lola one-shots. But this one IS good, only the title and the stork (no matter how innovative) promises too much that the original story can't produce. But it still goes on "Favourites" list.

The final part where Reiji's (err, Chibi's) parents find out that they're supposed to be in Shinjuku after all, comes on as a little predictable. Typical feel-good movie they churn out from Disney Productions. A more "Big Daddy" ending would have been welcomed.

Kazuki and Juubei's farewell, I must admit was the most hilarious thing I read all day. It gets interesting when you see Kazuki get it in there, and Ban get hit by a shoe, of all things. oblivious!Juubei should really make his appearances more often. And Shido wasn't HALF-bad.

Err, who else is left? . . .

Hevn really had a bad hair day. For some reason, I'd really like to see that whole puking-up-on-Hevn sequence done on TV.

And that's also the first time I've heard Akbane being called "homicidal-happy man." That's wrong grammar— it should be HOMICIDE-happy.

This one was overly weird. I've been having a thoroughly good read all the way, but I have to stop and review here. The old lady and Memer and the "Blue Pencil Strike"— okay, now THAT'S definitely what I call nonsense.

I like how Himiko handles the kid too, one those fuzzy things about this story which reminds me of "Little Child to Lead Them." ANYway. The part about Akbane and spaghetti totally cracked me up like a teapot.

And interesting conclusion too.

Guess what? ung mga gwa nyo... so cool talaga! lalo na etong babies... (_) grabe... sobrng cute tlaga...and funny...and well-written (well, even though there was an occasional error in grammar... i think that is so unavoidable naman eh. especially kapag nasa "heat" k ng pagawa ng story. kahit nga mga published books tlaga eh may error or two. tch, it really is quite inevitable)! the plots are good and close to the story. kabilib-bilib tlaga. Nga pla, I've been wondering about the last part though. Ginawa nyo na lng ba tlaga na buhay p ung lola ni Ban? o nasa manga b un? ala lng. kasi... ala naman kasi gaanong kinuwento sa series na much about sa background ni ban. actually, may mga bagay nga raw sa manga na ala sa series, lyk na ngkaapartment daw cna ban and gingi sa manga (wutch? na-afford na rin nila sa wakas?). hm, nakakaintriga lng...and i've read in other sites na ban is half-european...but where did they get that reference? hay, sa manga b ulit? damn... ano b itong ngyayari sakiN? total addictus na itoh...

i'll be waiting for your replies (if you-both of you- plan on giving me replies. you do...right?) anyways, i heard from my classmate na may lalabas na raw ngaun sa japan na getbackers MOVIE! parng continuation na raw un ata sa nakakabitin na series (nabitin ako, eh. prang ang dami kasing issue na naiwan. prang tulad don sa flame of recca...). so aun...ala lng, ininform ko lng kau. kung alam nyo na edi... no prob. hehe... anyways...
