The last part of it,Hiroshi's death, probably left a deep surreal sense.
Overall, it was a sort of thriller, to see 2 strong-willed persons exchange opinions; and neither of them was what they'd expected. And through Hiroshi, we get a rather introspective view on Seto,layer after layer.

I love these character analysis stories of yours. If I had more than 2 thumbs, I would give it more than 2 thumbs up, but... I love how neatly these stories intermesh with canon, yet how original they are.

I loved this story a lot. It's one of the rare OC-centered stories I enjoyed and Seto was very much in character.

Oh my. Well done. Kaiba Seto has become one of my favorites because he's one of the more complex characters, and I think you've captured that very well. Hiroshi was a very interesting, well-balanced OC; sad what happened to him, but one of my favorite aspects of the fic was that he changed his surname back to Kaiba.

Very well done. Your portrayal of Seto was incredible, and I liked the ending a lot, even if you did kill Hirishi off. Excellent work!

I very much enjoyed this fic, you have just about the best characterization of Kaiba I've been able to find. And the ending was perfect.

Aw, man, this was awesome. I liked such an altruistic look at Kaiba. So often I seem to forget he's doing it all for Mokuba in favor of thinking about Seto only caring about defeating Yugi. It's not often stated in the cartoon, but his actions show how much he cares for his brother. I liked Hiroshi, too, he wasn't an overpowering OC, he was a nice compliment. Oh the pain of his death, just another bit of guilt for Seto to add to his pile... I'm going to go check out your other stories now, keep up the great work!

I love a well-done 3rd party POV, for the insight only a stranger can offer, and this one was wonderfully executed. A fascinating look at what makes Seto tick. (Why am I not surprised that you fell for Seto? I think all Saitoh Hajime fans are extremely vulnerable to the good master Kaiba.)

I'm at a loss for words. It was just that good. Excellent job.
