I've found this story really engaging. Maybe the best Darkwing fanfic I've read yet. If it's ever continued I'll be comin' round to check things out. On another note I wanted to read that Unforgiving Past story but couldn't find it anywhere.

Great story. I sure hope Gos doesn't wind up in Negaducks clutches now that she's run away.

Lovely use of language here; everything's sad, sweet and angsty, all at the same time. My only critique is that the idea of "Maybe Darkwing's trying to replace me with Angie" is a little too pronounced in the chapter...it might have been a bit more effective to subtly introduce that concept through the actions (by the constant comparisons between the two girls, etc.) and only put it into words at the end of the chapter, during Gosalyn's inner monologue. Either way, though, it's still great.

Great chapter once again, I can't wait for more. There's a detail that troubles me though, Darkwing registered Angie to school and I don't really understand how that would be possible. Angie doesn't have any papers, birth certificate or anything, I mean Darkwing is not her father or legal guardian and I don't think a public school would just agree to register a so-called "distant cousin hanging out with us for a few months". I hadn't thought of that before because Angie had just arrived to Avian Way, but in this chapter she's been staying for at least a few weeks and it sounds like Darkwing intends to adopt her so he surely must have taken some steps for the legal issues. Of course vis-à-vis the story it's a very minor problem, and nothing's impossible for Darkwing, besides since he works with SHUSH he can probably procure himself some fake legal documents to account for Angie's existence.

Well it is not like I started "A Christmas Peril" three years ago, right? LOL It's cool, and what a great update. Gosalyn and Angie both reacting in believable ways, and Drake being Drake. The loving yet clueless father. Who needs to talk to Gosalyn. Of course he loves her, and of course Angie needs a home. It's not Angie's fault and all, nor is it Gosalyn's. But Drake needs to reassure both daughters. I guess the logic though might in Drake's eyes that he did do during the day. Though, I am sure, dangers will come when Angie gets recognized? Hmm...oh the drama! Looking forward to more.

I'm sure I don't need to tell you again how much I'm loving this story! ^_^ And poor poor Gos and Nega-Gos, I can see how both Ducklings must feel. I hope you can update this soon again because now I'm even more curious! :D

I love your analyses. I always thought it would be fun to have a twin, but not a complete opposite. Poor Gosalyn, but poor Angie too! I mean, she goes from one world to the other and then she has to contend with Gosalyns insecurity. But Gos's insecurity is perfectly understandable, though, and keeps being fueled by well-meaning but wrong-thinking people.

Hi there, boy this has been a long time coming and well worth the wait. I am very pleased, that your now continuing this story. I really thought you caught the tenson between the two Gos's. I really do feel for Gos, in her turmoil concerning Angie, with her double being so opposite, Gos's insequrities are running rampant. Then to see Angie, in the Ratcatcher with Darkwing, can you say("Her worst nightmare!")I know that Drake, was only trying to make up, for Tank's bad behaviour and cheer up Angie, but I'm also sure, that in doing so, he has made Gos sure, he really does want her negaverse twin, instead of her. Drake will have alot of making up to do, once he finds out how upset, his daughter really is. I hope he's able to accomplish this task. I just hope that NegaDuck doesn't re-enter, the picture at this point in time, with Gos so upset at both her father and her twin, she might do something everyone will regret, like turning over her twin to NegaDuck, or causing Darkwing to fall into a trap, set by his evil counterpart. I egarly await the next chapter. Fantastic Job so far. Keep it up.
