Klyn Farseer 6/25/11 . chapter 1
Wow. Most of the stories on here that are this old either have poor grammer or horrible organization but this... This is amazing. The story is a great idea, one that deserves more attention. Thanks for writing and May the Way of the Hero Lead the Land.

Wow… great Zelda fanfiction. I knew it had to exist! I really liked this. It's well-written and moving. And it's nice to read about the connections between the different games/times.

(I found you through zelda_fanfic and thought I would check your other stories. It's a pleasure to read Link to the Past and Link's awakening stories, as those games don't get much attention, and yours are great! *bookmarks galore*)

Though I daresay I was a bit late in finding this, it is an extremely nice story.

...it was saria...

Hi!

Just saying I loved this, it's really poignant.

By the way reviewer, I had the same thought about the sages descendants. I can't remember whether or not it actually tells us that they are of the same bloodline, but I don't think it does. So it could mean that they're not actually related, just connected by destiny to recieve those powers. After all, the gorons, kokiri, sheikah and gerudo have disappeared, and the Zoras went weird. Besides like you said the kokiri don't have kids!

Wonderful... an echoing sadness... but wonderful.

Good story, really neat use of words that Saria speaks. I like the quiet wisdom you instill here.
Sensei 5/29/01 . chapter 1
I knew it was Saria! - You write so good, Alex Foster! Great story!

All I can say is this... well done!
Maniac Mosli 1/26/01 . chapter 1
Hey...this is GOOD stuff. I really understood the Zelda-game time line from your point of view...yr so convincing! Keep writing!
Alex Foster 1/25/01 . chapter 1
It is hard to disagree with you, Reviewer, the story line of the games are very difficult to merge together. One can only assume that the ‘powers of destiny’ selected the descendants much like it chose the Link and Zelda of the respected times. Or, perhaps the Sages themselves chose the ones who would become the kinsmen to the maidens (hmmm... sounds like another story...). From a certain point of view, the kinsmen of the maidens would still have been descendants to the Sages, for they would have been the heirs to the Sages place in the legends. Much like the Links are bonded by the Blade of Evil’s bane. It’s only my opinion, but it was the line of thought I used in the formation of the story.

ooooh! So good! Poor little Saria. The only one left of her kind. I felt like that at school today, I am such a dork. Anyway, I am glad to see more of your stuff! Marin

great story, and wonderfully written. some observations, not directly related to the fic: in 'a link to the past,' the 7 maidens are supposed to be descendents of the 7 sages, right? well, other than the fact they're not all the same race (bear with me on this one), how can saria have had descendents? since she's a kokiri, she would have stayed as a child, wouldn't she? not a criticism of your fic at all, but it's all very confusing...
