It's amazing how you can make me feel for the story of draco and harry, eventhough it's not what it's about. And i understand why you didnt do the letters, and that's okay, some things have to be a mystery to make a good story :)

i just read your lightning letters series, and it was really great. it was an interesting perspective, and funny to boot, and even though at times it didn't seem very harry potter-ish, it ended really beautifully. sadly, but beautifully (: it was a really great story. thanks for writing it!

I hated this. Not because of the way it was written, but because of what it stands for - completely unnecessary continuation of a work that was already perfect.

I think it was pointless, trite and obviously just there to fill space. It should simply be added as an epilogue to LL1. If it was there it would be slightly amusing and sickly sweet.

Your first story was so beautiful and the second was heart-wrenching at the end. The thought that the part of Draco's personality infused into his prtrait had been mourning for the past 800 years his lost love. And it's only escape was to 'die'
Eyes got a little watery there at the end. The dedication fron Iris' book was a nice touch and a bit uplifting after the angst before it.

Somehow I found your version of ending is much better than the one I suggested in the last review...as portaits can move freely, I am sure Draco would not be there if he ever knows there is another portrait of Harry...

I have to say that I absolutely loved The Lightning Letters, but that this sequel was even more amazing and brought bittersweet ending to a wonderful story.

With your story and your whole universe that takes place 800 years after Voldemort's fall, you have managed to create something completely unique, the likes of which I have rarely ever seen in the fandom. With the Draco/Harry pairing, there are many good stories and many original ideas, but few that I have read so far have managed to be as original and wonderful as this. Your OCs were very realistic people, who seem real characters in their own right, and the portrayal of the events of Harry's life as something little more than legend gives it a whole new perspective.

Additionally, the whole bit about Draco's portrait at the end was simply superb. How horrible it must be to live almost a thousand years, knowing that the one you loved was dead and that you must continue existing year after year until time itself ceases! Iris' burning of the portrait, then is a wonderful moment because she gets to free someone who has waited that long and who loved that much, and who wrote something she spent her entire life deciphering.

Anyway, amazing story, I shall definitely save this for future rereading.

Wow. That ending was very fitting, somehow. I loved it. Forbidden love, kept hidden away.

I must say that the Lightening letters are one of the most iteresting fanfics I've ever read. I usually hate fics where they get a sad ending.. and deathfics and stuff... But this was a deathfic with life and a happy ending :'D And I'm kinda sitting in the schoollibrary crying my heart out right now.. xD thank you for this

ah! this was really good and well thought out, though i must say i thought the first one was my favorite of these two. i would really love it if u wrote a prequel to the first Lightning letters, but i do agree, it would be only a read for rainy days and such. depressing, but i think ur writing style is very well-matched for this type of drama/? stuff. thank you for writing! wahh the last line's the best "harry potter and draco malfoy, for trying as best they could"
