To those who may not know the author passed away, and will finish the stories. She was very nice person it's to sad to lose a good person and writer.

I've realized you have not updated this story in the past year...it saddens. I would have reviewed! I do want to know whats goin to happen...but atlast the story is incomplete!

I've read the ending of the story on AFF, but wanted to review here. . . I hope that's okay.

I've truly enjoyed reading both 'Makings of a Pirate' and 'Winds of Destiny'. Both have been truly enjoyable. I liked the Jack Sparrow that you portrayed here and felt he was still within his character (it wasn't AU). To be very honest you drew me into the story and I developed an attachment to them.

I've read The makings of a pirate too and I enjoyed it, though I was sorry when Jack had to leave the Pearl. I love And the Winds of Destiny too. It's just as good as the first story.

The only thing I don't know is what Moses' Law is. I tried to look for it on the Internet but couldn't find anything about it.

This is shaping up to be very interesting. Very interesting indeed. I can see Jack helping the pirates to get a larger ransom... It would be like him to do so. I could be like those reviewers who try to guess what happens next, but I'd rather not. I do *so* hate to be proven wrong! (Maybe that's why I write my own... Who knows?) Anyway, keep up the good work and keep writing!

I've checked it out as you've asked and I'm thrilled. I didn't realize when you first mentioned it that it was a sequel, which I was hoping for. So sad that Norrington, Liz, and Will get to have fun pirating and Jack is stuck all nanced up in the governor's mansion (I'm secretly hoping some horrible attack will cause him to jump into Sparrow mode to save the day, thus ruining his disguise and causing him to flee back to the Pearl). Whoa, anywho, I do so like it so far and I'm sure whichever direction you take it I'll be happy with. Even a sad one, because I don't mind a sad ending now and again when they're well placed and well written, such as your last story. Added to author alert, and should you decide to start posting in our WIP group section that would be terrific. Anxiously awaiting more...

OK, Im leaving a review. The devil costume is a natural and the moving tail is genius. I still think it is a darn shame that he has to be the governor, and the gold teeth in the box give me the willies. Nevertheless, he is having fun, sort of.
