ok not saying i like shounenai or to read it, but i stumbled upon this, and i think the shounenai was really mild so it was...ok. after all it doesn't really seem like shounenai. i dunno. anyway yeah i guess my reaction was also Matthew and WHO??!!
anyway yeah Jaffar is quite young. so i guess your guess is right. but matthew looks young. so i guessed he was like twenty, cos the official art says his 20-29. and i just guessed 20. and another thing: legault is in his twenties according to official art so you can change his age to twenty-nine. hah i am SO evil. never mind.

Heh, well unlike your reaction, I've actually seriously considered a Jaffar/Matthew fic before.,.. But I couldn't manage to start the darn thing. Ack.

And whilst the main fic was BEAUTY I still liked the little Legault and Nino convo. Heheh. ^^

Umm.,. both ages are unstated, although there are hints to approxiamation. Actually, I think Jaffar looks more 19-ish, but close enough. And Matty is probably a little older than 20, like you said.

But the scene would be a little better, perhaps, if there was more foreshadowing to where the convo went while Nino was chatting with Florina?

Ok... and here's where I look like a total suck-up, but never mind. This is all meant whole-heartedly.

I read this before. Liked it, very much so, but didn't really absorb any of it. Then I played FE some more, and decided to get the Matthew x Jaffar supports, just because.

After reading those, this fanfiction suddenly made a lot more sense. It's wonderful. Matthew's anger and hate in the game is so palpable and it feels so real in what you've written.

And I don't know if it was what you intended, but it seems to me that Legault sees Matthew as the person he could have been.

Parts were funny, parts were painful (in a good way) and it all seemed very true to the spirit of the characters.
If this was the best story I'd ever written, I'd die happy.

Anyways, this was hilarious, especially the end part, which I liked a lot ^^. I've never really considered the MatthewxJaffar pairing, but I have nothing against it, and really liked this fic! ^^
