Great job of capturing how awesome Lindblum must seem to a newcomer, though Cid's last name is "Fabool." Commas are missing in a few places and there are several typoes, but your vocabulary is good and your style is clear and easy to read.
Anyway, this is a neat little way to explain how those two met. Everyone was perfectly in-character and the story was quite believable. It's nice to see Freya not being an angst queen in fic (for a change), and Zidane's such a lil' charmer.
