Lacorelli, this story is fascinating. I know it's old, and there's a good chance it's not going to be finished, but I still wanted to let you know that I really like the way you portray Hook, and the way you've sort of bound together the two aspects of JI's character from the movie. And Mary, of course, is priceless - just the way she should be! If you do continue with the story at all, it'd be interesting to see whether this enforced contemplation changes Hook's perspective on the children, especially since the way the story left off it seems as though Hook has little left to do except stew, because he's not going to watch the children's adventures, and according to the book Mary seems to spend a lot of time in the nursery, pining for them.
Anyway, I assume you're not continuing this, but still, thank you for an enjoyable night's reading - not to mention good character development and good grammar! Thanks! ~OoF

That was a wonderfully weird and creepy dream sequence, and the rest of the chapter was good as well. Hope you get the rest up soon :)

The dream at the beginning of this chapter was quite evocative, though I'm not entirely sure of what. (But I imagine it ties into later chapters.)

But, oh, the rest - having Hook watch the scenes the night the children left! Having him compare himself to the man that George wants to be, and seeing his bile over what life that actually creates. And his hunger for Mary and her love of George - it's so potent. It's just so completely realistic to have Hook envying that.

And the best, of course, is his fury at the way the children "betrayed" their parents by leaving with Pan. Oh, I really can't wait to see where this leads.

Here's to things not interfering with your life so you have the time to write more of this absolutely delectable story.

I love this fic so far! I read it all in one sitting and hated to reach the end. I do so hope there will be more chapters to come. "sad puppy eyes" I am glad that someone else watched "Peter Pan" and wondered how in the world Mr. Darling ended up with Mrs. Darling. I mean come on...he must have done something to win fair lady.

I like how George proposed, but I'm a little confused with the George and Hook thing. I thought Hook was in George's body. Is George's consciousness there too?

I'm intrigued...I like what you've written so far. You have a very good voice-of-Hook going on. I always did like ol' Jas, he was a smart villain, no doubt about it.
