Wow. This is a truly amazing story. I haven't yet read all of RATM or reviewed it, but I've read enough to understand the story, and I must say, it's beautiful. In a very, very dark way. You play out the AU idea so wonderfully. The Ring really does twist people, and no one can escape it. It's hard to imagine Merry going /that/ bad, but... well, as I said, the Ring really is the embodiment of evil.

I really loved tetched!Frodo for some reason (I'm a sucker for broken, angsty Frodo, I guess), but it was also nice to see him regain his senses. Even though it's sad that such an innocent, happy hobbit now holds so much anger and hate. The Ring has really ruined everyone, and I can't help but wonder how you planned a happy ending for this.

This is a really wonderful story, and I really wish that you'd update it. But I can see that you've given it up. Could you at least tell me how this would've ended happily? To give me peace of mind? :)

P.S. I loved motherhen!Scur. That was surprisingly cute. xD

I know it's been ages since you updated this but if ever you get a spare moment, I would love to read more! This is probably the most epic fanfic I have ever read, and even if this is the end congrats for crafting such an absorbing story.

Please update this. I hate to leave such an unhelpful and demanding review but I'd love to know how this ends. Your style with RATM was perfectly chilling and disturbing(that's a compliment) and now that they're back in their right minds(for the most part)I want to see how the emotional scars heal and how the redemption aspect is fufilled.
