i like this story so far, not sure if having summerbee turn into a 'romantic' interest for severus would be good..maybe someone he can learn how to date with and be a 'normal man' with but without it leading to the white picket fence dream and all that..I would think after all he has been through (both wars, the interval, tourture for 8 months, fractured mind and magic..etc) he wouldn't be up for anything 'real'..just my thoughts there though (though maybe after a few more years of him healing and geting used to touch and his mind back in better order and geting use to post-voldie world it would make more sense..)
mm...albus will mold being alone, maybe have him start writing or something (memours, magic theory books..the like), diff gotta get the man busy before he jumps into the ocean and tries to swim to the contenant :D
may i suggest that severus, lupin, and harry form at least a bit of a friendship? maybe not 'tight' but where he has someone other than minerva, poppy, and albus (all much older than him) to talk to and 'do guy things with' :D
I don't know if you plan on showing how he will conduct his classes now (to show any similarities and differences to the past) or not but I think at least once you should...as well as his 'private' interacts with his slytherins (like house meetings or something in the common room)

Pleading for update, as everybody. (-: Why have you stopped? - there were really promising thoughts about the future possible development of the story in this (second) chapter. So please don't mention any writer's block, I'm sure you are a very good writer after rereading your both fics - and I would like to read more!

And, and, and - you are still reading the fanfics (judging by the list of your favourites) - so maybe, maybe, maybe you would like to make your fellow readers happy with at least a short chappie once again one day?

It is nice to read about father-son relationship between SS and AD after HBP, you know. And there are not that many of them. (-:

I've read the prequel to this, and when I saw the sequel, I was like, "WHOA! THERE'S A SEQUEL! MUST READ NOW!" So far, this is REALLY good. Hehehe...Snape being collegues with Harry...I thought that this story might still have some update-hope for it left...but then I saw the last update date- 2004? PLEASE TRY AND FINISH THIS FIC! I'm sure that TONS of people will agree with me.

I just finished 'The price we pay' today (read it all in one day too, lol) and the two chapters of this. I think these are excellent and do hope you will update soon. I am especially looking forward to Snape confronting Potter As far as the OFC, I don't really mind OC's much as long as they are well written and don't take over the story. But I think many stories/plotlines often require even minor OC's and all you can do is grin and bear it! I think she could be interesting, however I guess I am slightly hesitant as her being a love interest for Snape. Probably just me though cause I'm so a slash lover and find it odd to see Snape with a woman, lol.

Good chapter. Why haven't you update?! It was getting good. Can't wait for outburst when students asked Snape of "Where has he been?". Can't wait.

I am a patient person and as I like this story (and it's predecessor) so much, I am willing to be very, very patient, waiting for updates. However, I am also 66 years old and in the normal course of life, can't be all that patient. I hope you will see it to eventually continue with the story. I've enjoyed it very much. This is the second time, if not the third time, I've read the two of them. Good work. I, too, hate OC's, however, I am willing to give this one a chance. When you come back to writing this story, please include Professor Summerbee. Thank you.

Oh it is shaping out ot be a GREAT story... I would like to see more interaction w/ Harry & Remus... but somehow I get the feeling you are not that big of a fan of them.

I think the Summerby character is cool. A well developed character can be a good addition to the story, especially if it is as headstrong as Severus and give his a hard time (evil grin). It would be funny to see Remus and Harry playing cupid. (oops sorry, mind went off the deep end!)

Would you please update this? Update anything? (makes Puss in Boot Goopy Eyes, blinks eyelashes innocently).

I share your immense dislike for OFC's, by the way, and was immediately hoping that she wasn't going to be too serious a love interest for Severus (unless there's a good background behind her character, which I'm sure you can pull off).
