tomoya-542002 2006-10-19 . chapter 1and this is why you're one of my favorite authors! i love this story, adding it to favs (my favorite is still "lie awake and pray", though, i love that story so much!)! |
Moth Gypsy 2005-11-25 . chapter 1poor auron, poor tidus, they love each other but cant show it! >.< so sad, great oneshot though! |
xHotaru 2005-03-20 . chapter 1You convey emotions so well. ;_;
I cannot put into words what I would like to say. The knowing and not knowing what happened and everything. So... beautiful. |
butterflie 2005-01-07 . chapter 1::dies:: you reviewed my story. that had me squealing for a good hour XD
As for this story... I love it like crazy. I've already read it countless times. I even like the fact that they don't "get together" at the end, because it adds so much more to the story that way. And the way you skipped from the night to the morning so smoothly, with just an implication and leaving it up to the reader to guess what happened.. somehow that was a lot better than if you'd written out what actually happened between them. I think my favourite paragraph in this whole thing is where Tidus wakes up and stares down at his pillow. Don't ask why, I just like it. Well, that and the my dinner is cold line XD
Well, I'll stop rambling now ^^; |
jemisard 2004-12-11 . chapter 1This was lovely. The awkwardness, knowing what's happened even though itis never actually said, it's a beautiful pice of writing, I love it. |
wild Pennyroyal 2004-09-06 . chapter 1Ah!! (For lack of a better word.) So beautiful and painfully fragile, and you don't even realise the taut rope upon which Tidus and Auron have to walk, and the conflict of it being wrong to society, to the world, and yet *so right* to them, inside... *applauds* I really can't put it into words. I almost wanted to cry with frustration and (if this had been possible I would have surely done so) hit their heads repeatedly against any conveniently located wall until they realised how stupid they were being, and to just forget the rest of the world, because it isn't wrong! Argh! See, this is what a good tragedy does to you: It makes you want to weep at the beauty of it, and it makes you want to hate it because. It. Just. Won't. End. Happily.
But the silences were beautiful, and very well placed, and I loved how Tidus tried to convince himself that his throat was just sore, and Auron wouldn't look at him as he asked him the heartbreaking question whether Tidus had really meant it when he said he loved him.
But my favourite part would most likely be the break between Tidus' last thoughts at night, and the morning after- you didn't need to write the lovemaking, its implications were so much stronger this way.
Ah! *goes off to weep some more*
*-nelli-*
(Yes, you know I ramble, so I apologise once again.) |
AntiPixie 2004-08-25 . chapter 1::Dies:: I hope you've written this recently enough to still check on your reviews. Just want to let you know, this is... wonderful. As is your author name. For some reason, I'm slowly becoming a terrible AuronxTidus fangirl, even though I normally dislike yaoi slash with a vengeance. But so much of this pairing is written so well that it seems... utterly natural. If slash is to be, this is how it should be done. I commend you. ::Bows, tips her fedora, and dashes to class.:: |
Lucrecia LeVrai 2004-05-21 . chapter 1Hey, hey, hey! I'm not a silent reviewer! ^^ Anyway, it seems that having you on my 'author alert' pays off... ^__^
Hm, father/son relationship with a cool twist... that's exactly what I like best. It was a very nice story, I must say, even though I hate Auron's guts (still, for some reason or other, I think he's the only FFX character that doesn't seem terribly OOC in any sort of a slash fic ^^).
Keep writing and I'll keep reading!
PS: Poor Tidus... no social life... no girlfriend... ^^ |
