this part has seriously got me intrigued. it's a great new slant on the whole minetour myth - i love it! i'm guessing the 'fouler things' in there with them will be what she was originally expecting? (or, being totally off the wall a manifestation of what's eating her (so to speak?)) i'm just thinking out loud here, don't mind me!
