I agree with your reviewer, 'The Cinnamon Chaos' - the FF7 graphics make Hojo look all horrible and ugly, but when you see the character sketches, he's actually quite beautiful...y'know, in a creepy, mad-scientist sorta way.
I can easily picture Hojo...well, not so much being in love with Vincent, but certainly having an infantuation (maybe even obsession?) with him. Maybe that's one of the reasons I'm drawn to the pairing - it's believable, if certainly one-sided. I think you showed the relationship between them really well, and it made a change from the usual 'I'm-evil-so-I'll-rape-you' Hojo - not that he's not entirely unrealistic either, but yours was so much creepier without the need for gore and rape and all that stuff. Really well-written, pity you aren't continuing it...
