brilliant! my sister and i had almost this same discussion about jack/nina and david/sherry and the similarities after the season finale tonight. i was so sad to see both of the beloved villianesses go, and hope to read more of this story! awesome job!

It's an interesting idea, having Jack and Palmer comiserating together over lost loves (I think a mention of Dr. Ann Packard might be warranted in another chapter).
Two things I should point out though: First, as far as I know, Jack did not "cheat" on Teri. He and Nina were involved while he and Teri were separated. Second, I don't believe in a million years that Jack would ever have any sort of feelings for Nina after she killed his wife. Now that's she's dead, I doubt he would think much of her at all.
