His Divine Shadow 5/28/04 . chapter 1
If it makes you feel any better, _I_ didn't beg you to write this. . ._-

At any rate, this was a nice little piece of loose end properly tied in as consistent a way possible with the Nina Purpleton I know and despise from Stardust Memory. It would be just like her to put her career first, drive off her man, blame anyone BUT herself, and then have to get reminded of that by an emotional brick like Kelly Layzner, whom she would stupidly go to to look for some kind of absolution.

All in all, while life moves on for everyone in "Gentlemen of Fortune", on Von Braun, it's stasis all the way to 0083: Stardust Memory. . .and that's exactly how it ought to be. I know you loathe succumbing to fan pressure to cook up something you didn't initially have planned, this still turned out VERY all right.

Like the fans that pressured you to write this, I enjoyed it very much. I like the perspective you came at Nina with in Kelly and Laetura, it was a reality check for Nina and also explains why she closed up relationship wise until Episode 7.
Also my mom loves the Hawaiian Pizza style! Anyway, this is it, lay it to rest and focus on GOF. I'm off to read the 3rd chapter now.

Kelly's method of comforting broken hearts must be the awesomest thing I've ever seen.

Other than that, Nina suddenly dropping all her Anavel problems and fussing over the Physalis once Kelly mentions it is uncannily Nina-like. His observation is best: she was married to her career and Anavel was icing on the cake. Once again, good work. The only errors I spotted were a couple of minor typos here and there, and considering how FF.net is massacring format even more than ever lately, it could very well be FF.net's fault.

Dammit. Now I wanna go back and read "Not Looking for a Love Affair" again.
