Not real familiar with the WHOLE of Buffydom, but I get the gist of this little piece and I do so like the dichotomy of the weather to his mood. And the stars laughing at him. Bwah!

This is a damn good story. It really made me feel Angel's angst, and you did it without just telling us he was in anguish. You showed it. What you have here-it's exactly what Angel should be thinking. You're right-there should be rain.
